Anthony is the current Managing Director of Flinders Partners Pty Ltd. Prior to his role at Flinders Partners, he was the Managing Director and founder of TCG - Technology Commercialisation Group (sold to Deloitte) and has had a lifetime “hands on” involvement with commercialising new products and developing new companies.

Since 2001 Ben has performed many functions at Flinders University; he has coordinated numerous projects and tender submissions with Flinders Consulting prior to delivering business development roles within Flinders Partners. Sinead has a broad background in the field of Genetics and Biochemistry with a Bachelor of Science and PhD in Developmental Genetics. Sinead spent four years in the US as a Post-doctoral researcher in the field of neurobiology and nervous system development and a further four years working at a University of Oxford spin-out company in the UK, where she was Head of Agricultural Research. At Flinders Partners, Sinead is committed to identifying research with commercial potential and finding suitable industry partners to advance the research to the benefit of the University.

Ascar's qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in cell biology and chemistry, a Bachelor of Law (Hons) from the Australian National University, and a Master of Industrial Property from the University of Technology, Sydney. She is a lawyer as well as a registered Australian Trade Mark Attorney. Ascar is passionate about research, grants, licensing and commercialisation, and has gained useful experiences through internships with federal government departments and major research organizations in Australia.

Aisha Sirop
Commercial Development Director
Aisha has a bachelor and masters degree in Environmental Management and is a certified environmental auditor. Her initial experience was in an environmental remediation company focusing on business development and consulting. During this time she built strategic relationships across the environmental sector and has established a broad network of contacts. Her role at Flinders Partners now encompasses supporting researchers of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Science and Engineering to develop commercial opportunities that would lead to contract research grants, consultancies and commercialisation.

David has a Masters of Commerce (Marketing) and brings a strong commercial focus to research at Flinders. David has managed a diverse array of commercialisation projects across a range of sectors including Cleantech, ICT and Health Sciences. More recently he has worked as a Brand Manager for a market-leader in the 'fast moving consumer goods' industry. David is committed to building the commercial value of research projects at Flinders by engaging early with industry.

Daniela comes from a wide legal background working as office manager and paralegal for many years. She turned her attention to intellectual property and commercialisation about 10 years ago. Since then Daniela has obtained a wide range of experience working closely with researchers in the development, protection and commercialisation of their IP within SA Health, including patent and trademark protection.

Bea Stathy
Senior Associate – Legal
Bea is a lawyer with experience in intellectual property law, corporate and commercial law, and litigation. Bea’s work encompasses all aspects of intellectual property and technology commercialisation. Bea also provides advice concerning research contracts and general commercial matters. Bea holds a Bachelor of Management (majoring in Marketing), a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) from the University of Adelaide and a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne. Bea is admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia and of the High Court of Australia.

Peter completed a PhD in molecular biology, before spending five years as a postdoctoral scientist in Australia and the USA, conducting research in the fields of gene regulation and developmental genetics. For the next twenty years, he worked in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, both as a research manager and as a project manager for drug development. Peter has extensive experience in biomedical research, preclinical studies, clinical trials, and intellectual property management. He is dedicated to helping university researchers successfully pursue the commercial applications of their work.

Rebecca is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years experience working in some of Australia’s largest corporations. She has most recently been working with the indigenous sector, assisting groups around Australia to commercialise opportunities arising from the mining boom. In her role at Flinders Partners, Rebecca is responsible for financial reporting for all entities within the group, and for providing Flinders Partners staff with financial advice and guidance in relation to individual projects.

Nadine has a Bachelor of Information Technology. Nadine is developing our opportunity management software, Strategiize™. In her current role, Nadine works with clients to find out their requirements and attends to their specific requests in customising Strategiize™ to ensure that it suits their business needs. Nadine also performs other tasks such as requirement documentation, testing, debugging, general web development and maintenance.
