Prior to his role at Flinders Partners, he was the Managing Director and founder of TCG  - Technology Commercialisation Group (sold to Deloitte) and has had a Lifetime “hands on” involvement with commercialising new products and developing new companies.

Mostyn

Ben is responsible for the Faculty of Health Sciences. Having worked for Morgan Stanley in Los Angeles and Deloitte Consulting in Australia, Ben provides a solid commercial focus to advancing technologies. Ben is also an investment committee member for the Trans Tasman Commercial Fund which invests seed stage capital into early commercial research projects and spinout companies generated by member universities across all sectors.

Lara has over four years experience working in the University system, including two commercialisation arms. Prior to this she worked within an Adelaide based company renowned for its market leadership in Australia and with a worldwide reputation in its field. With a degree based in legal studies, Lara has developed a keen understanding of the issues relating to contract R&D and consultancy services, and seeks to use this knowledge as a way to value-add for the benefit of Flinders Partners and the University’s strategic objectives.

Ben has recently joined the commercial development team after several years in administration and management of national and international tertiary consulting projects. Vincent

David comes from a commercial background with a Masters of Commerce (Marketing) and experience as a marketing consultant. David’s role at Flinders has initially been as project manager for the development of the commercialisation software, Ask. He has subsequently been involved with the commercial development team in undertaking market research to assess new opportunities across a wide range of sectors including cleantech, health and ICT. David is committed to creating strong industry linkages and developing commercial pathways for research within the Health Sciences Faculty.

As a Principal at Flinders Partners, Tanya is committed to promoting the research capabilities and valuable intellectual property of Flinders University to commercial purposes, and ultimately, community benefit. With a diverse background, ranging from not-for-profit healthcare to information technology, and most recently, marketing, Tanya brings broad experience and knowledge to this role, especially within large and complex organisations. Tanya has an Honours degree in Politics and a Masters of Commerce in Marketing, along with professional qualifications in IT network administration.

Sirop

Aisha has a bachelor and masters degree in Environmental Management and is a certified environmental auditor. Her initial experience was in an environmental remediation company focusing on business development and consulting. During this time she built strategic relationships across the environmental sector and has established a broad network of contacts. Her role at Flinders Partners now encompasses providing project management support to researchers of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Science & Engineering for all their external commercial projects including consulting and contract R&D projects. Aisha has developed specific skills and interests in the areas of environmental auditing and management; demography; archaeology; and biotechnology within the University’s commercial arm over the last 3 years.

Flego
Adele is a registered Australian and New Zealand patent and trade marks attorney with an honours degree in biotechnology and a masters degree in industrial property. Prior to 2005, she was a Patent Examiner with the Australian Patent Office, specialising in pharmaceutical and biotechnology patents. Adele also spent time working in the European Union Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market - Trade Marks and Designs (OHIM). There, she worked within the Intellectual Property Policy Department, evaluating aspects of the Community Trade Mark Registration and Appeals systems.

Marsh
Karen has recently joined Flinders Partners, where she is managing projects with particular focus on Humanities and Social Sciences.   Her background is in international business development and marketing within the creative industries in Europe.  Her most recent roles were with Sony Pictures, EMI Music, and Universal Music, and she has worked in commercial partnership with major brands including Microsoft Xbox, Starbucks, and McDonald’s.  In addition to a BA (hons) degree (English Literature) from the University of London, she has recently completed the UK Chartered Management Institute’s ‘Executive Diploma in Management’.

Reynolds
Brenton is the project manager for the Algal Fuels Consortium which links researchers from SARDI, CSIRO and Flinders University to develop a pilot scale second generation biorefinery for sustainable microalgal biofuels and value-added products. Prior to joining Flinders Partners, his experience was in biomedical research having completed a Bachelor of Biotechnology degree (Flinders University) and a Doctorate of Philosophy (University of Adelaide) and most recently undertaking post-doctorate research within the Department of Human Physiology at Flinders University. Brenton’s interest is in achieving commercial outcomes from University driven research.
