Research to Outcome
For everyone interested in helping the process of getting research and skills into commercial success, we offer a one day Research Commercialisation Workshop. Anthony Francis, Managing Director of Flinders partners, developed this program in its original form, then the first of its kind in Australia. It has since been licensed worldwide and universally applauded for its novel approach.
The workshop takes a very practical approach, allowing you to test the commercial application of your or your team's ideas and learn how to realise success. While workshops have been limited to Flinders University staff, we are now opening them up to other interested parties.
Researchers that have attended this workshop in the past have said that the workshop provided them with an interesting overview of the commercialisation process from concept to market, and that they appreciated the clarity, simplicity and application of the information to a variety of research areas. Many enjoyed the opportunity to meet other researchers that they had not met previously, and the discussions that allowed them to advance their research project and to consider alternative angles and aspects that they had not yet thought of.
